Conservation Reserve Program | CRP

​CRP is a voluntary conservation program administered by the Farm Service Agency (FSA) that encourages agricultural producers and landowners to convert highly erodible and other environmental sensitive acres to vegetative cover. This program helps improve water quality, controls soil erosion, and enhances wildlife habitat.

 

Participants enrolled in CRP receive a yearly rental payment and cost-share to help establish vegetation and are responsible for its maintenance.
