Minnesota Agricultural Water Quality Certification Program |  MAWQCP

MAWQCP is a voluntary and non-regulatory program to help farmers and landowners protect our states streams, rivers, and lakes through the Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA).

The benefits to becoming certified are:

  1. Regulatory Certainty for 10 years (certified farms are deemed to be in compliance with new water quality rules for 10 years)

  2. Priority for assistance
