District Programs

​The Freeborn SWCD has funds available for landowners and farmers that are interested in implementing conservation practices on their land that help soil erosion and improve water quality.

Freeborn SWCD Staff can provide technical assistance and guidance to get you signed up for our various programs.

Freeborn SWCD Cost-Share funds  help landowners and farmers pay a portion of the cost to install conservation practices that protect soil and improve water quality.

Watershed Based Implementation Funds (WBIF) are available for projects and conservation practices identified in approved watershed plans.​

Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) has funds for landowners and farmers to implement conservation practices that target regional natural resource concerns.
