The Freeborn Area Soil Health Team's mission is to facilitate local collaboration that encourages, educates, & demonstrates how to improve our soil health & water quality while improving productivity, profitability, and sustainability of our natural resources.
The Freeborn Area Soil Health Team is made up of local businesses, SWCD employees, NRCS employees, local regenerative farmers, and other agricultural professionals. The team meets 10-12 months per year to plan events and field days where farmers and landowners can learn about the value of their soil health!
