Eastern Red Cedar: Juniperus virginana  – Grows to a height of 40–50’ with a spread of 8-25'. Moderately fast growing. Prefers full sun. Adaptable to a range of soils and site conditions. Grows sharp green scale-like needles. This tree is very hardy; tolerant of deer, heat, drought and poor soils. Excellent for wildlife.
